As someone who works and lives in the fashion industry, mostly historical fashion but fashion non the less, $500 for something made by hand really isn't a lot of money because if they are paying their workers living wages then they need to charge more. Especially for sustainability. If people in sweat shops making your fast fashion clothes were actually paid living wages you would be paying over $100 for just one shirt. Something I'm so seeing people say. Fashion cannot be stolen and also cannot be barred to one people! Fashion can always be influenced by others and grows no matter what.

So, with bitcoin hitting the $56,000 mark, the question on everyone’s mind is: What’s next? What does the future hold in terms of price, regulation and adoption of this “digital gold?” I actually wasn’t left out I started investing with Luís when it was $30,000 and today I I’m benefiting from it. Sir luiz platform actually make you earn 10x the amount you invest in crypto.

Aluminium cans and can tabs are recyclable. Aluminium is 100% recyclable and maintain it's properties. Solving a non issue. More than 75% of all aluminium ever produced in the US is still in use through recycling. They could have simply set up a program/process of recovering used aluminium for recycling. Recycling uses 90% less energy than processing new mined aluminium.

I’m torn. I want to support this but *$250 - $600* for a bag? I’m all for up-cycling but...this feels more like conspicuous consumption geared towards the wealthy who want to show that they’re environmentally conscious. This wasn’t as uplifting as I hoped, but hey...we all gotta eat, right?

Being able to purchase these bags, enable these practices. This sort of investment hurt only the investors and sponsors if they don’t sell, who knows- if they’re into the exclusive luxury practice, might as well burn it all if they don’t sell. If people want to support, essentially put your money where you think is proper. I’m curious why there are so many people getting butthurt over the price. Companies choose to exploit marketable ideas all the time.

Save $500, collect some soda can tabs you're gonna drink anyway, watch a youtube tutorial that's been on here for YEARS, make a bag. You're welcome. While you're at it, learn how to make plastic bags into yarn to crochet bags, or old candy wrappers, or seat belts. Don't fall for this marketing BS and make these ripoffs rich. If the proceeds were going to charity or being given back to the community, then fine, but it's not. Just another white guy who went somewhere and saw some talent to steal and get rich off of.

Donate your pop tabs to ronald McDonald House instead of just tossing them or dreaming of designer bags. They use them to fund places for families that need a place to stay. Unfortunately The tabs can only be donated in states that exchange recycling for cash, but if you find yourself in one of those states go to your local VFW or American Legion (you will have to look up which accepts them) and they will take care of the rest. God bless.

Reminds me of the Tom's. It's a similar concept. You find a market that already exists (alpargatas in Argentina, people from Brazil recycling can tops to do crafts), claim it as yours, make your product way more expensive than the original, and make the buyer feel good about themselves because they helped a cause (raise money for the poor, save the environment) they could have helped with in many other, more efficient ways.

So acording to my math, in order for them to break even yearly (if they make the first explained bag) A) they have to make 156.250.000 bags a year. That means 1 in every 50 person in the world. Thats 8hrs per bag, 24hrs a day, 52.084 days or 142.692 years. Thats 1.5 century. In order for them to break even every year, if we say a shift for a worker is 8hrs, they would have to hire 428.083 people to work for 365 days. Then they have to adjust their numbers by every year's consumption rate. By math, they could end unemployement. But one in every 50 has to buy a bag anually

So they visited my country, copied someone’s hard work and then they deicide to sell it for a huge ass amount of money (whilst probably underpaying workers) and THEN this guy has the audacity to state that everyone should buy his copied, overpriced bag because it’s eco friendly? Eco friendly is not just fashion, it’s a way of life and it’s whole purpose is to be accessible so that everyone has the option to adhere to it. For someone in such a privileged position he’s actually incredibly disappointing.
